Funding

We are registered to accept Government funding for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

Three and Four Year Old Funding

Nursery Education Funding is available to all 3 and 4 year olds. If your child’s third birthday falls between:

  • 1 April and 31 August, you will be eligible from the 1 September
  • 1 September and 31 December you will be eligible from 1 January
  • 1 January and 31 March you will be eligible from 1 April

The maximum Nursery Education Funding you can claim per week for your child is 15 hours (term time only). You can split your free nursery education hours between two settings if you wish. Funding can be used at Pippin throughout the day depending on your requirements, including Breakfast and Afterschool Club.

Parents are welcome to utilise additional sessions, but these will be chargeable and are offered on a strictly first-come, first-served basis. For prices please see our Session Fees page.

30 hours funding

We accept 30 hours of Nursery Education Funding once your child is in receipt of their 3 year old funding. For eligibility criteria, please visit Childcare Choices. Parents are responsible for renewing their eligibility code every 3 months as instructed by HMRC, failure to do so will result in funding being withdrawn and sessions being charged for.

Two Year Old Funding

Working Families can apply for a funding code to access 15 hours of funded childcare per week. As with a 30 hour funding code, parents are responsible for renewing their code when instructed by HMRC, failure to do so will result in funding being withdrawn.

Paerents in receipt of certain benefits may be eligible for government funded support for 15 hours funding per week (term time) too.

In order to access funded hours you will need to complete a Parent Declaration form each term, we will provide this for you.
