Funding

We are registered to accept Government funding for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. Our fees are in line with the Government funding rate.

Nursery Education Funding

Nursery Education Funding is available to all 3 and 4 year olds. If your child’s third birthday falls between:

  • 1 April and 31 August, you will be eligible from the 1 September
  • 1 September and 31 December you will be eligible from 1 January
  • 1 January and 31 March you will be eligible from 1 April

The maximum Nursery Education Funding you can claim per week for your child is 15 hours (term time only). You can split your free nursery education hours between two settings if you wish. Funding can be used at Pippin throughout the day depending on your requirements, including Breakfast and Afterschool Club.

Parents are welcome to utilise additional sessions, but these will be chargeable and are offered on a strict first-come, first-served basis. For prices please see our Session Fees page.

In order to access your funded hours you will need to complete a Parent Declaration Form each term, which we will provide for you. You will be required to provide proof of eligibility for the nursery funding, e.g. your child’s birth certificate.

Two Year Old Funding

We accept two year old funded children upon receipt of an eligibility letter. To confirm eligibility, please contact Stotfold and District Children’s Centre who can guide you through the application process. A Parent Declaration Form will need to be completed every term, which we will provide for you.

30 Hours Funding

We able to accept 30 hours of Nursery Education Funding once your child is in receipt of their 3 year old funding. For eligibility criteria, please visit Childcare Choices to check if you are eligible for this. Parents are responsible for renewing their eligibility code every 3 months as instructed by HMRC.
