British Values

Here at Pippin, we incorporate all aspects of British Values.

The children voice their opinions and know they are valued and listened to. The children understand that their choices may not always be met and that decisions are made through democracy.

The children recognise the rule of law by learning to understand right from wrong. They experience consequences of their actions and are taught to respect the people around them.

Individual liberty enables the children to build self-esteem and confidence. There are many opportunities to self-choose throughout the day to encourage children to become independent, unique and special in their own way.

At Pippin the children demonstrate tolerance by listening to one another and respecting other people’s opinions and values.

We treat everybody equally and have a mutual respect for one another. We celebrate equality and diversity by recognising many different cultures, beliefs and religions.
