Committee

Pippin is a committee run pre-school. Parents elect a committee, which oversees the financial planning for the year ahead. Pre-school fees and government nursery funding cover staff salaries and day to day expenses whilst the acquisition of learning materials and equipment is mainly met by committee fundraising. The committee represents Pippin at community events throughout the year, including the Steam and Country Fayre in May and the Community Christmas fete in December.

Our Annual General Meeting is held in October, at which time the committee is reformed for the following year. All parents are encouraged to attend and become involved in the decision making processes for the pre-school.

We are registered with the Charities Commission (charity number 1028855) and Ofsted (EY437997). We abide by the rules stated in our constitution which we adopt annually at our AGM.
